Firm is preferred Scottish training provider
Healthy future for medical teaching module
Learning IT, Scotland's fastest growing company, has won a major contract with IBM and developed a training program to deal with the growing problem of anaphylactic shock.
This year's Business a.m Gazelle winner has been taken on as IBM's preferred Scottish training provider in a deal which will generate£300,000 in the coming year.
Duncan Macleod, Learning IT's founder and managing director, said that the company would provide training in Cisco and Microsoft technology to employees and contractors at IBM's Greenock complex, which employs 5,000 people.
Glen Christie-MacAllan, IBM's alliance coordinator, said that the Stirling company would provide about 100 courses this year. He said: "They have been excellent to work with, highly professional with a good turnaround rate."
