Design for Lean Six Sigma

This 4-day course will give you an excellent perspective on the DFLSS methodology and how it may be applied.  Equally applicable to manufacturing & service environments, the training uses the “House of Quality” approach as its foundation.

The course provides training on the range of DFLSS tools & techniques and shows clearly how these link with, and build on the more familiar Lean Six Sigma Improvement tools that you may already be using in your business.  The practical challenges of Implementation of DFLSS will also be discussed.

DMADV building on DMAIC, Linking DMADV with New product stage gate processes, Define, Project set up, Market & customer segmentation, Change Management Challenges, Measure, Voice of the Customer & Intro to advanced techniques, House of Quality 1, Benchmarking and setting design goals, Design scoreboards, Analyse, Functional Analysis, House of Quality 2, Creative Thinking, Concept selection, Design, Building the design elements, Lean design tools, Simulation & Scale up(including design for operation), Capability Evaluation, Robust Designs & Tolerancing, Intro to DOE, Verify, Piloting & testing, Control Planning, Handover to operations, Preparing for a DFSS Implementation, How to prepare for a successful DFSS deployment.
